Mount Zion Lodge in Michamvi is a true gem, seamlessly blending warm hospitality with a tranquil coastal experience. Nestled just a short stroll from the beach, the lodge's lush gardens provided a beautiful setting for our morning breakfasts—each one a delightful spread of fresh, local ingredients, perfectly curated by the accommodating Chef Salum. The friendly staff made us feel right at home, always greeting us with genuine smiles that warmed our hearts, reminiscent of the family vibes we seek in our travels. Our spacious room was a haven with its private entrance and patio, perfectly suited for unwinding after a day of exploring the nearby stunning beaches or the intriguing Jozani Forest. I particularly loved the cozy shared lounge, where we bonded over board games and chilled out with a few drinks from the bar, surrounded by the serene ambiance of the garden. If you’re looking for a place that captures the essence of relaxation while being close to Michamvi’s highly recommended snorkeling spots, this lodge is an excellent choice. I can't wait to revisit this haven!
